I am sure that someone has asked this question before, but I can not find the thread.

Up till now I have just cycled in a tracksuit bottoms and running type T shirt. However I have started doing more mileage and think I am going to need to get padded shorts or something as I am really feeling it after a ride.

However I am on the larger side and I can not find anywhere that sells womens stuff above about a size 14/16 and I am looking about the size 20 range. The other thing is that I am on a diet so do not want to spend a fortune on stuff that (hopefully ) will not fit me in a years time.

Any suggestions???

Not particularly cheap, but they do larger sizes:

Or you could try men's clothing, at least for tops, etc. - I usually wear men's jerseys a size smaller than I would be in women's, but they tend to go up to bigger sizes and there is usually more choice...

I do wear men's tops, it is trousers (or something padded!!) I am after.

I might have to bite the bullet and get a couple of things from that website.

Corinne Dennis seems to be the only place that caters for anything over size 16. Minx Girl was suggested in this thread about were to buy ladies clothing, and they do have a 'Plus Size' link but don't seem to have much in stock and it looks incredibly expensive. Your best bet is possibly to pay the cash for some padded undershorts from Corinne Dennis and wear standard tracksuit bottoms/shorts over the top of them?

Hiya, I'm another 'larger lady'. I'm hoping I'll be less large the more I get out cycling!!! Junonia in the US do international sales and there's a new UK website Eve Activewear http://www.eveactivewear.co.uk which specialises in plus size kit. I've found that Lidl, Aldi and TK Maxx sometimes have some decent stuff or Go Outdoors - I got a size 20 base layer top from there - a Berghaus one I think and its really good. If you want less technical kit even M&S do larger sizes.
