mudguards for boardman mtx 8.9

I'm looking at buying a boardman mtx 8.9.
I'd like to attach some mudguards to it.

I've had these suggested

I'd ideally like some with better coverage, but I guess the frame isn't compatible with more traditional mudguard styles?

Nope, unlikely to be compatible with regular mudguards - not least because of the suspension front fork.
