SKS Chromoplastic mudguards top fittings front only?

I've had a set of SKS Chromoplastic mudguards for a few years now. They've been great but for some reason I never put the front one on. No idea why but that's where I am.

Recently I found the front mudguard and stays. It has the black, plastic bottom piece I think it's called the securiclip or something. What I don't have a clue about is where the top bolt part and the plastic part that goes over the ends of the stays.

Do you know where I can get just the bolts and cover parts for a front mudguard?

I think I have seen full stays and bolts but I'm curious if there is anywhere selling just those top bits. I never put the plastic boots over the rear stays neither so perhaps I don't need those parts just the bolts that secure the guards to the stays.

If they're not available I might just get a full set of attachment parts and keep the unneeded stays for just in case reasons. Then lose the unused bolts and bits like I did with the original ones.

Many thanks if anyone knows where I can get just what I need rather than everything else in the guards set.

Actually, as an aside. Are there better road bike guards available now? I use 37mm tyres on 700c wheels. It's a road / commuter / gravel-ish sort of bike. So I'll go off-road a little with it occasionally. It's been ok doing green and blue bike trails with the gear guard on. Think front guard is more of a risk doing that sort of thing.

Itching to get back on my bike's
Sjs cycles would be my best guess or your local bike shop.

The fittings on the front mudguard are designed to break off if the mudguard-wheel interface happens............not funny.....it happened to me in the 70's

You can buy the SKS Spare Parts Kit which has all the little bolts and plastic bits. It's cheaper than a whole new set.

For your tire size, the SKS Bluemels in 45mm width are a great, robust option for mixed use. They handle the extra clearance well.
