Following on from me visiting a cycling shop selling some vintage and other general cycling tops, which I've purchased a few from them, what's your favourite top ?
I had a Raleigh white and blue top for years that I wore in the late 80's as it matched my Raleigh Road Ace. I have a couple of vintage team tops, one a new acquisition, that I like. I tend to stick to plain colours, red or blue, bright green for the MTB (matches it) etc. Got tops that are great in the winter etc.
My two favourite tops come from late 80's early 90's. Had a Fassa Bortolo top for years, great summer top being mainly white. Roll on last week, spotted a lovely Festina top, but the 'collector' wanted £280 via 'the shop'.... MrsF found a better quality one with the fancy zipper, for £20 on Vinted - it had been listed for over a year.
Fassa Bortolo - building materials - concrete and coverings manufacturer, Festina, watches of course. Mapei - tile grout ! Got some in my bathroom.
Not actual item, but these are my favourites:-
