England : West Midlands Cycle Club for an Amateur in Brum?

Hey guys,

Wondered if I could get some help? I'm new to cycling but after catching the cycling bug last year am keen to join a club in or around Birmingham.

I have an issue where I can't move my right ankle, so I'm really nervous about joining a club aimed at the more pro rider.

Is anyone aware of a club tailored more for someone like me?

Where in Brum area?

Beacon or Solihull both have numerous ride groups related to speed/ability/desire - as well as TT and racing ... or for the more leisurely outing www.ctc-heartofengland.org.uk
