England : Nottinghamshire Cycle Clubs Near Newark on Trent

Just investigating cycle clubs near Newark on Trent, so far I've come accross the Newark Castle CC, I saw the Rowing Club had some riders out on a sportive (but I dont know how formal that is) and I aslo came accross the Southwell Spartans (althought their web site is a bit out of date and I've no idea whether or not they still exist). If anybody has any info on clubs near Newark on Trent, it'll be greatly appreciated.

Strange; your link said 4 clubs found, but only showed pins for 3.
How far are you casting your net? In Lincs, Sleaford Wheelers and Velo Club Lincoln quite big, and not too far from Newark for a mile-eater like you!
Here in Nottingham, Sherwood Cycling Club seem to be the most vigorous of several clubs.

Disclaimer: as you know, I'm not, and never have been club material, and have never even considered, or been considered for, membership of any club except the CTC, and that's only because they didn't exercise due diligence before cashing the cheque.
