can someone please tell me what wheel factor I need to enter for a 700x35c wheel? its probably the only size not listed in the manual! (raleigh 16) Thanks.
The most accurate way is to measure it. Use a china graph pencil to mark the tyre wall and tread then put a mark on the ground/floor where it touches. Push the bike in a straight line until the wheel has completed one revolution and mark the floor again where the wheel mark touches. Measure the distance between the floor marks et voila.......wheel factor. Oh by the way, measure it in millimetres.
on my Cyclosport computer I use 2174.
But you can measure it yourself by; marking the the floor using the valve as a starting mark, roll forward until the wheel has done one full revolution. Mark floor again. Use tape measure to measure between the 2 points, you should get your factor (in mm's). Should give you an accurate reading.
