Hi im looking for a cycle computer and heart rate monitor which is compatable with strava.
im not looking for anything to tech and as cheap as possible, only want the heart rate monitor/strap because i had a bypass so need to monitor heart rate etc..

Good morning,

As you are saying that you need a heart rate monitor for medical reasons will the normal answer of many cheap heart rate monitors are pretty good most of the time be appropriate for you.

How important is it to you when they give wrong readings, for example are you looking for a rough guide or have you been told that your heart rate must never be greater than a specified value?

Whilst heart rate monitors often become erratic when they are wrong, pulse goes from 140 to 30 to 220 over a few seconds, other may try to hide this and average these sort of things out, so if you are trying to detect a specific danger sign this may not work for you.
