Cycle Genius Recumbents

I was Googling 'recumbent bikes' today, as is my wont, and stumbled accross a link for Cycle Genius and was very tajen with the looks of their Raven model, whioch worked out at just over £1000 new. I know they're in the US but they have a distributor both in France and in Switzerland so I would probably be able to get one here for not a huge sum. Does anyone have any experience of this make and/or can anyone offer an opinion of their wares?

I'm impressed, but you're more likely to get it at the price of £1,700 over here (or 1,700 euros), bear that in mind before you think "aha, cheap bike".

It's the same with computer bits, after paying for shipping and customs you're at the same price in the more expensive currency.
