Cycle hanger.

I have broken the above part for my 10 year old cycle; chain came off.
I am unable to find a replacement part.
It is a carbon frame.
Is there "bodge " or whatever to get me mobile again ?

If you are talking about the rear mech / derailleur hanger there are universal ones designed for emergencies e.g.

not sure if you have somewhere in France that do similar., but you should be able to contact the manufacture to get / source a replacement hanger.

Got a spare hanger for my bike sometime back from these guys - based in France (I think so anyway). They were the only shop I could find that stocked my hanger, so you may be lucky.

How far are you willing to bodge? One option is to remove the derailleur and shorten the chain to make a single-speed.

Chances are you'll be able to find a third party replacement for the bike. What make, model and year is it?

My Trek bikes all have a number stamped on the hanger itself - you can google that number to find a replacement hanger, other manufacturers may do something similar to aid finding one.

I got one before on the Bay of Eees, and it was a case of making a best guess at what would fit - think they had a couple of dozen to choose from. Anyways, my guess was correct and I was once again a happy bunny.
