Cycle paths - grrr!

No mate, we are off to wheelock. A flat ride (60 miles for me-about 40 for Hacienda). Come along. Leaving at 7ish

Might well do cheers, where would you meet me?
Will you 2 be OK with a slightly slower pace?

Might cycle down it tomorrow-will be going out early sat morning. Feel free to join me. No idea where or how far I am going yet, plus it will be my 14th straight day in the saddle too.

Ha, if only I weren't restricted to single speed at present, I suppose I could shuffle some tyres around if you don't mind another?

I used a couple of cyclepaths in Peterborough recently, one alongside the rowing lake which wasOK, and the other from Orton Staunch to Ferry Meadows which wasn't. Transverse cracks & root heaves every 2-3 metres made it damned unpleasant, changes in surface, poor repairs, didn't add up to a sterling experience for me. Added to which I got stuck behind a much slower rider with an Ipod in who couldn't hear me gently hinting I was behind him. I'd rather use roads, despite traffic.
