It’s a funny business model. There just isn’t a big income stream.

But compared to other professional sports they seem to be paid a reasonable market rate.

It's worth reading the article. These are only salaries and some riders do well from sponsorships.

I wonder if Roglič knew WVA is on a higher salary.

Chris Froome (Israel Start-Up Nation): €5.5 million.

WVAs skills outside of road cycling will boost his salary; probably on road cycling is paid less.
