Well opted for the tricross sport, which I picked up at lunch time today. Went for a quick varied 10 mile ride ( rough track, mountainside and hilly roads)to try it out, and am delighted. It was much better than my old mountain bike off road and considerably faster and easier to climb hills than my tdf. Also felt very comfortable. Seems ideal for the terrain I live in in north wales
Can't wait to get back out on it, thanks for the advice

All true regarding NI... Just need to consider that there will be an initial investment in the bikes if not using a finance company, although obviously this is repaid in full over the hire term

I got my employer to sign up by doing all the research, about to embark on gettin my 3rd bike through the scheme! Guess how much I love the scheme

COST TO EMPLOYER - I think they pay the bike store up-front and recover monthly from the employee. Plus as said I think they save on NI.

Your employer can, I think, use a company like cycle scheme who as I understand it pay the bike store. Your employer then just pays your salary sacrifice to them monthly. I could be wrong though
