Here for rides.
Can't spring for a folder on bike-2-work to do a combined rail bike commute. Though I've thought about it hard. 1km from station at this end, .1km at the other. Not worth the effort. Time is the killer, journey home by car 13 miles 30 mins, by bike 13 miles 45 - 60 mins, by train 20+ miles 65 - 70 mins due to poor connections and roundabout route.
The plan is to get the lovely Helen on a Tandem Day in shropshire in the summer and see if she takes the bait. We rented one for a day from Locks of Sandwich and she loved it

Someone where I work got a £5000 full carbon specialized MTB to use on the weekends only through the C2W scheme.
It does help that he's one of the MD though.
As long as you're commuting by bike, I don't see why it should be a problem.
The forms I filled in for Evans didn't ask what bike I was buying, and our accountant wouldn't know which bike I was using.
