Ride It Like You Stole It!
Tomorrow is our cycle to work day for Universities and Hospitals on Oxford Road, Manchester.

Various stalls and freebies, guided routes and more importantly a free breakfast.

I'll keep my eyes out for freebies - usually stuff you've already got, but picked up a mini chain breaker last year (still not used, but you never know). In the past I've picked up puncture kits, basic pumps and the odd bag or two. These bits usually stay at work and I've given these to folk who haven't got anything.

Unsure as whether to tag on the guided route this time, as I can set off later and still get to breakfast quicker if I go my own route.

Hmm free breakfast ! :hungry:

Nope, no plans from the Employer.
I am the only cycle commuter in my team... Depsite the fact that so many of the team are local and are only 5-10 mins drive from work...

Our industrial estate / park does guided rides and free breakfast for cyclists every so often, including today. But although I cycle every day, I've yet to bother with this. I keep forgetting, and you have to register. Plus, I need breakfast before I cycle, not afterwards!

if you bike in any Friday we get a free breakfast

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Some stuff; a free breakfast on Monday at my campus :hungry: , with the other 2 in Leeds having them yesterday and today.

Also, Edinburgh Cycles had a stand (where I filched some gels! :mrpig: )

Finally there's a talk tonight at the University of Leeds about How to we get Leeds Cycling?

There's also free bike loans for 6 weeks under 'Trycycling' and other activities, together with the Velocampus initiative.

Ride It Like You Stole It!
MMU, Manchester Uni, Hospitals and RNCM. There may also be one in Albert Square this week - poss Friday, as the BBC are filming I believe.

Do doubt anyone would know if you cycled over and helped yourself to a free puncture kit !

Eat, sleep, ride, repeat.
The complete opposite- the shower in my office block broke down on Friday and they're still 'waiting for a part', Monday was a damp drizzly ride and today was a hot humid ride- both met with a toilet sink to freshen up! :cursing:
