Cyclechat clothing - can anyone give their sizing experience from previous orders, please?

Having discovered that Endura size charts appear to bear no relation to reality, could anyone post how their actual sizes compared with the claimed ones in previous Cyclechat orders, please?

Shorts, jerseys - anything would be a help. There's one or two ideas from old threads but perhaps having them all in one topic might help.

To give an idea of the problem, according to the size charts, a jersey for me is at the top end of medium but trying on Endura Pro jerseys in a shop, even large was too small and the best size was XL. Conversely a jacket in Large fitted.

There's been some pleas for help in Will's order thread but I guess those who have ordered before might not be reading it.

Many thanks

Rezillo- just a thought -the cc jersey's on order aren't the pro endura jerseys - they will be cut slimmer etc (I think). The cc kit has gone for the more relaxed road sizing (off the top of my head) so the sizing might be ok. Would be good for folk to feedback though on what they've got in the past and the sizing.

I did wonder that - the problem is that there is one size chart for all their clothing, pro or whatever, so in theory a snug pro "hey, I look like Spiderman" fit should be the same size as a looser styled jersey.

I reckon there's a gap in the market for specialised LCCSs (local cycle clothing shops) where you can try everything on. The ranges I've seen in LBSs have been almost laughable - like the last day of the sales when all that is left are the freak sizes.

TAL is Endura - there was no change in the cut when they changed the custom kit name.

I don't have a tape measure so I can't help much.

Pro Jerseys are available, but the cost is much higher.

Poor Will - not only is he saddled with all the ordering work but I can see I'm going to have to change all my order sizes yet again. Apologies.

Sorry, I kept meaning to answer this. Just let me race upstairs and put my CC shirt on....

... medium shirt fits comfortably (not too loose nor too tight). Bibs in medium, I could do with them being a tad smaller/tighter but I doubt it'd be a full size down. I'm 38" chest, 33" waist and 5'7"

I have an Endura short sleeve cycling shirt in medium and it fits fine - close but not tight. I'm at the top end the range for this size, with manly shoulders too , so I'd suggest it's reasonably accurate.

I was coming to the conclusion that my 41" chest would be Large and this helps - thanks.

38" is the top end of Small in the chart but Medium fits you well. 41" is the top end of Medium so in theory Large should fit me.

Now all I have to do is sort out the shorts size - I'm guessing large for my waist size (34" or 35", depending on state of diet).

I measured my medium jersey last week and it was 20" across the chest from under armpit to under armpit. so 40" all round.
