When I got up this morning, The Weather Channel app told me that it would start raining at 2:30 this afternoon.

They were wrong, it started at 2:35.

I use dark sky for a little more than just the wind and rain.
I use the satellite image map as it shows hours before, you could figure out how the storm is acting from that.
I need the RH and dew point because it causes condensation and mould, also the amount of rain. I need the cloud cover for solar.
Dark sky has all this, it’s the only one that does.

Seems to me they are all not that reliable, Ventusky has predicted no rain when its been exactly the opposite this week and Weatherpro takes its data from the same source the BBC currently use so really no different IME
