Bought and sold watches for 20+ years, would I wear one in bed, no, WTF? I have a Casio G-Shock solar powered "holiday watch" that I reach over and take the time from on a morning.

I bought a 10 watch box to stop buying with the aim of filling it with watches I wouldn't/couldn't sell. I managed that about 5 years ago and at times I baulked at what I was paying for them but that watch box must be worth 10x times what I paid for it's inhabitants.:okay:

I notice shoes and watches, it doesn't take much money to not look cheap.

I used to but started to find it uncomfortable and scratched my face one night. It now lives on the bedside table ready for the morning.

Mrs D thinks I'm odd because I wear a watch in bed. Usually my faithful G shock, but also my Traser, Garmin and Tudor all get the odd look in. I put it down to a habit formed in the Army, when sods law said I'd draw an 0200-0400 stag.

So do you wear a watch in bed? Is it weird, or sensible? Why do you do or dont do do it?

I’ve brained my wife, and myself, with my Casio G Shock MTG.

I only wear a watch in bed when I’m monitoring my sleep or my heart rate, very loose on my wrist as it seems to swell.

It does slightly, due to the muscles relaxing.

Yeah, I wear my Fenix 3HR in bed as it monitors my sleep.
Does it tell you how successful you are at sleeping? I've heard that about similar things and it's just a bit farking creepy IMO, right up there with those listening posts.

I'm pondering getting a lightweight wristband solid-state LED watch so I don't kill my new mechanical one with sunblock and dirt while cycling like the last one. Anyone got any tips or reviews?

I simply stopped wearing a watch whilst riding.

It tells you how much deep sleep and light sleep you have had - not sure how accurate it is as it goes off movement. What it is accurate at is how long you are sleeping for - it's quite interesting seeing that.

Mrs Dave used to wear a watch in bed. I recall her closing her eyes tight and saying "right........you have five minutes".
