Yeah, I wear my Fenix 3HR in bed as it monitors my sleep.

I have a decent Rotary chrono that hardly gets worn as most of my work time is spent in food and pharmaceutical factories with their no jewellery policies.

My Seiko Diver's watch needs some attention so I'm thinking of looking for a stop-gap. Any recommendations before my wrist tans at the same rate as the rest of my arm?
Mine too. Hands misaligned, otherwise fine. I use a 1969 Seiko hand-winder if it really irritates me...had that since new.
So, bedtime: take one watch off, wind another, check the two battery-operated ones are still going...

The watch goes on the bedside table.
I don't need to wear it in bed as I'll be asleep - and if I wake up I can simply look at the alarm clock.

Although much like @User9609 and Jack Reacher I can usually tell the time to within ten minutes or so without reference to a time piece.
