I get Cycling Active on subscription.... well, I think I do.

The latest copy I have is the August one. When is/was the Sept one out?

I can find no mention of the 'next published' date and I assume it's actually been out some weeks now. In the odd manner in which many mags seem to be published, I'd be expecting the October one in a couple of weeks!

It comes out around the 18th so the Sept one was out a couple of weeks ago. I can't remember what the front cover was I'm afraid, there was an article about drinking and its effect on your cycling fitness. (I think! mags tend to merge in my head!)

The one currently on the shelves (which I assume to be the September edition) is BRIGHT PINK. So you'd probably remember it if you'd seen it!

I bought a copy of the September issue from WHSmith last Saturday (28 Aug) and have seen it in the shops before then - so I'd say that yours has gone missing or not sent.

Mind you - it's not the most exciting cycling mag so I don't think I'll be subscribing even at the current 50%-off for a year offer.

I picked up the September issue on the 24th of August from my local ASDA.They used to print the date for next issue in the magazine but have stopped doing that for some reason.I have just subscribed myself as the offer in the new issue was for a half price subscription.

No, it's not the most exciting mag. I actually find it quite dull (but it's not aimed at me, I realise that now) and wish I hadn't subscribed.

Cheers for the info all. I'll give them a call and get a replacement sent. It's not the first time a mag has gone missing in the post sadly.

There is an off-sale date next to the barcode. Assume that the new issue hits the shelf around that time.

No. He drives a tractor. I guess that's why copy of 'Which Combine Harvester?' has never shown up....

rusky; yes, there's an 'off sale' date by the barcode - 17 Aug. I didn't know exactly what that meant but I figured it might be a clue. So thanks for clearing that one up for me!

It arrived in the post this morning. It obviously took the scenic route. Damned fine article on alcohol and riding btw. Highly recommended read.
