My best hand book and read has to be CYCLECHAT! ;)

However a bit tricky to balance a laptop on the handlebars, and you'd have to be careful with the cursur as you went over the bumps:smile:

French Revolutions is like someone said a great read, not strictly cycling related but Spanish Steps by the same author is very good too.

I really like them too although she tends to get a bit of a bashing on this forum. I think i like her because she's short, she's a girl, she tours and she's quite gutsy (bit like me). I did some weekend tours by myself last summer and thinking of her got me up a couple of steep Yorkshire hills!

On Your Bicycle by Jim McGurn is a very good book on the social history of cycling as is King of the Road by Andrew Ritchie
