The funniest real life story I know involved a man with ULT, later diagnosed as a hernia.

My missus buys me one to keep me quiet on the plane when we go on holiday. Last year I proper laughed out loud at one of the readers letters and got a big shushhhhh from the wife. About an hour later a bloke 2 rows back cracked out laughing.I looked over, he had the Viz. I reckoned he, d got to the bit I'd seen earlier.

I kept my old Viz annuals till we moved house 13 years ago, and I was encouraged to 'out away childish things'. Going to Smiths later... I feel the return of adolescence coming on. (well, it never went away really, but...)

yes, but "Student Grant" was a (brilliant) parody of its own readership and they / we can take a joke too
