On the other hand some of the comments underneath are really rather spiffing. There are some particularly interesting observations about statistics and risk, and someone waxing lyrical about 40 riders at a red light.

Blimey that's a lengthy article, I got about half way through - I'll go back later.
I enjoyed reading the comments, which is pretty unusual for me, because generally the comments on any vaguely cycling-related news article in Australia are (a) hostile, (b) moronic, and (c) ignorant. I recommend you read the comments (I posted a few as "Cyclophile", by the way).
