Magnatom uses a piece of kitchen equipment in preference to a helmet, I think it is a scottish thing.

What particular piece of kitchen equipment would you be referring to there...?

(I take it, from your unwillingness to say it that the discount scheme is bona fide? £455 at last count I believe...... )

Is that your first installment?

By my reckoning, by the time I've managed to collect £350, you'll have brought the cost down to £350 due to 'wok' occurrences. This could take some time, unless of course you were to reply to this thread and quote it (which counts as well..)

wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok, wok.

That'd make it £170 by my reckoning....

Do helmets protect your whole body?

No, that is the point. There is a strange belief out there that the act of wearing a helmet will protect you, which is why they make children wear them even though they are completely pointless, it just juju...

When I was a kid cycle helmet hadn't been invented, up the cycling fatality rates were lower, because there were more cyclist on the roads and driver looked out for them.

Even more funny, there are studies out there with flawed methodology, which could be used to "show" that helmets protected part of a second person, or that helmets protect against leg injuries.

It's worth remebering that while these stats are broadly positive, the UK has worse cycling KSI rates than the Dutch, Germans and Danes etc.

Catrike decided to call my helmet a wok (because I suggested I wore my camera below it (not underneath it:rolleyes:) so I suggested that the price of a POV.1 would drop £5 every time he mentioned wok from then on. At the moment I've got him down to £460. However, BentMikey has told us to stop, so we'd better stop.....;)

I called your hat a wok and you with your doctorate in Coronation Street decided it was code for some esoteric money related thing, odd that with you being scottish, the stereotypes have been proven correct.

I think your blood sugar is down, you need a deep fried mars bar.
