Hi there,

I was just looking at this: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bri...nce-other-benefits-for-24-potentially-1251635
On the surface it seems like a good deal, however, Not sure i would need 3rd party cover. Is this something that you guys worry about? There are some good points raised in the comments regarding cover the legal fee's if you rear-end someone.

My bike is covered against theft on my contents insurance but i doubt that in any way covers accidents on the road. I guess no win no fee type people could do the job if i ever was in an accident where i wasn't in the wrong, but what if i were to ever hit a pedestrian etc etc etc

BOSH try this code ;) "TForL12" offers 50% off and you still get 10% off for direct debit...

Worrying about it is probably the incorrect context, but it's certainly something I think about.

I understand many home insurance contents policies cover 3rd party whilst on your bike.

The other British Cycling benefits (discounts are stores) can be worth the £24 fee alone in any case.

If you are cycling on a regular basis, always handy to have for the legal assistance (i.e. no worry) and of course 3rd party cover.

BC's solicitors have acted for me twice so far in accidents with good outcomes.

"Or simply use promo code NEWCMRA to get the RIDE membership for £10.50 straight away.
Edit:

Unfortunately the same here. But I guess the % discounts will save the cost in a year, even with the higher price.
