Ok a quick thunk and Januarys topic is your bike pictured with “The White Stuff”….maybe some snow for those in the upper northern hemisphere, maybe some white sand for those in warmer climates. Hopefully some other possibilities just nothing incriminating please 😬

Hi all. Nice to see January draw to a close and some nice shots over the month.

In 3rd place….welcome blossoms of the snowdrops from @Jenkins.

Two photos sharing joint 2nd - both from @PeteXXX - bright white paint and classic buildings 👌

But the winner, in my humble opinion…

Love the detail although I hope that chain has a good coating of oil before and after 🤗 Well done @chriswoody 👏 👏 👏

Thank you very much @IrishAl and everyone else for a good competition, 2 minutes into February! that's got to be some record for announcing the winner.

Right I know there's a few eager beavers who like to get some early photos in, especially as it's the weekend and a short month. So it would be a dereliction of my duties to not name the topic early, which is Derelict.

So any interpretation along the theme and usual rules apply.

Ooh and rest assured the chain is fine!

Sorry for the delay in posting a verdict, there's been some really good entries this month, but a couple that really stood out for me:

Ultimately though I really liked the framing and drama of this shot:

So I think I'm going to declare @PeteXXX the winner for this month, so over to you.

Many thanks @PeteXXX I think we got lucky with some very good early spring weather this year and a good display of spring blooms.

As for this month's competition - how about girls' names as it is April.

As promised an early verdict as I am going to be travelling from tomorrow. There’s some good entries , but two stand out for me. There’s Swanspool lake by Biggs with the mist floating above, but the winner for me is the one by @roubaixtuesday an empty road with the river leading the eye into which you can imagine is a still and quiet space.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that!

I'll have a think; I'm away at the end of June so might need to delegate judging.

OK, so this month's challenge is "Flaming June"

Whether the weather will provide inspiration or you seek alternative sources of ignition for your imagination is left to the individual!
