If you want to work it out without reading the answer - go no further.:smile:

You are back on your ship, and the ship/boat travelled ten miles (Knots) while you were cycling round the decks, probably the aft deck.

I am guessing here, but the deck is not usually that empty is it?

Do you get seasick cycling on the ocean?

Not usually so little on the deck, but the rig is more interested in the tanks full of drilling mud below it at the moment.

Never been seasick. Occasional headache but weather has to be in force 9 or 10 region for that.

Like the edit to your answer too.

Technical pedantry - isn't a knot a measure of speed, not distance? Speicher appeared to use it parethetically for distance...

I'll shut up now...

I'm not scared of Speicher.

Not much.

<hides>

I have nautical connections too, my Dad crashed planes for the the Fleet Air Arm. It's a miracle the country wasn't bankrupted.

I was thinking about a change of avatar, might bring the tug back.

Now where is Arch, I am sure she was here earlier. :reading:

Perhaps I should have said sea miles per hour?

;)

before anyone else say it
