sign that man up now!My sister looks pretty stylish on road or mountain bike despite not making any consious effort to do so. She tells me that as long as the sunglasses are right everything else follows - ?ifyousayso. According to the OH i have no style whatsoever, on or off the bike. Ah bless.
The Fridays do look pretty sharp. Think the jersey helps. TC also has a pretty stylish non-Fridays jersey but i can't remember what it is. It is somehow nicer than my vintage polyester Farm Frites jersey...

I'm much better dressed on the bike since I met @Agent Hilda, as I seem to have first call on stuff she's bought that doesn't meet her exacting standards. The Rapha shorts she gave me were so comfy on the recent Fridays Normandy tour that I thought I might splash out on a second pair... until I saw quite how much splashing would be needed. Very pleased with a red Vulpine jersey acquired in the same way, and a Rapha long-sleeve. The Fridays are a preposterously attractive club, of course, and we have a few especially natty dressers - not just Agent H, but (to name a few) @Jasper the Surrea, @wanda2010, @Zee and (he's worth waiting for..................................................................) @Michael Adu.
Of course! How could I forget Mice?!
Actually, heels are more practical than you'd expect when cycling - they can give a better grip on the pedal than a flat shoe - and make it easier to reach the floor when you stop.I don't even mind sandals, but high heels are a bit silly

OK, OK, I have to ask ... what's all this @joebloggs guff? Is it a new affectation, a Friday's in-joke, or am I really behind the linguistic times?Thank you @User1314 and @theclaud -that's very kind! I am nowhere near as uber stylish as you two, nor as cool as @Agent Hilda @wanda2010 @Michael Adu @User or indeed most of the cyclists out there but I do like to know what my choices are - which is why I keep an eye on peeps like http://www.velovixen.com http://www.velorution.com/ https://www.aldi.co.u/ to see what they are up to. It's also one of the reasons I started my blog http://the5milecyclist.blogspot.co.uk
I'm also finding it a bit hilarious and somewhat surreal to see a photo of me on www.velovixen.com
For me though - it's all about riding the bike - the best thing I have ever done, ever!!

True, it isn't cheap. But it is good vfm, and if you buy in their sales stunning vfm.I like the Shutt VR stuff too, its very well made (in the UK) and very smart, but it ain't cheap. I have a couple of shirts that where bought as gifts, along with some other cheaper shirts. Coincidentally the Shutt VR head office is two miles from where I live.
