yes, the music was nice.

Throwing Covent Garden in to the mix was a bit unfair on the Tube journey - but, then again, most tube journeys involve a walk at both ends.

Bike is quicker. I'd beat a straight journey on the Northern Line out in to the burbs with ease wearing jeans on the Brompton, and, once you introduce changes, from tube line to tube line or bus to tube line, or overground, riding a Brompton in work clothes leaves anything else for dead - and you get to the door with the Brompton.

It's a no brainer that on most journeys in London bike is faster except with ridiculously long mileage

The music is Air - Alone in Kyoto (I think)

that's not ridiculos mileage by my books-

bike beats pt again!!

It doesn't seam it, but when looking at the transport used it should win. especially with most of the journey done on a fast train which only stops at clapham junction before east croydon. it does 10.5 miles in 18 mins.

Even at non-sweaty-cycling-in-a-suit speeds, my Brompton beats the tube on pretty much any journey I can think of where I've used both methods.
