^^ This... kind of. Deep isn't the issue, it's more not being able to see the road surface.

On a group ride the other night I had no choice but to go through a puddle like this at around 20mph, thank god it was okay.

When i was a runner something similar happened to me. Used to run cross country and so a little flood was fine compared to all the mud and rivers i used to go through. Unfortunately i missed the pot hole and ended up getting a complete drenching after tripping. Trying to sort my twisted ankle out whilst killing myself with laughter sat in the middle of a flood was very amusing!
