Actually, I was probably watching a car burn at the time!

There is an area across from my house which has car parking for the nearby flats. It is next to a gated passage (ok no gate, more a gap in the fence!) which leads to the canal. It's best not to park your car there, because of the quick getaway the passage provides, it encourages kids to do pranks. I had my cars aerial pinched when I parked there (I got it back as I happened to be looking out the window when it happened!).

Last night it went a bit far, with some neds setting fire to a car!

Fire brigade/police turned up at about 11 ish.

Anyway, back on topic, obviously it is a shame for the poor chap who died. It sounds like they want to find the cyclist in case he had some agro with the chap.

No mention of who was a fault for the bump of course.....

There's just so much unsaid in that article !

The driver was 'sitting in his Honda Jazz' : was it stationary or moving at the time ?

The cyclist 'bumped into it' : what ? slight glancing blow to wingmirror and carried on with no worries on either side ? Or slammed into stationary car stopped sensibly in traffic ? Or driver pulled-out of side road into path of cyclist who had no chance to avoid ?

The cyclist 'continued' : without incident, or after having a big barney through the car window ?

The motorist spoke to passers-by : 'hello nice day isn't it ?' or 'did you see what that tw*t on the bike did to my car ?'

Lacking any detail, it's not a story at all !

Surely its far more important to establish if he had shimano or Campag groupset on his bike
