Cyclist vs. Pedestrian - Soho Blues documentary...

This is from a documentary called Soho Blues - apparently this accident was cyclist vs. pedestrian. Glad to see she fully recovers though... Watching something like that doesn't half make you think though - I think we can sometimes be a bit naive as to how much damage a collision with a pedestrian can cause.

Also, an interesting introductory piece on the cycle responders - they carry 90kg in kit The introductory trailer indicates something else about cyclists getting stopped for cycling on pavements, but I haven't watched that far yet...

Indeed. The report suggests she mistakenly stepped out in front. I'm sure she is glad the cyclist wasn't driving ... otherwise pain might not have been the problem.

Ended up watching it whole. And yes, the police fine a cyclist for running a red light (30 pound fixed penalty) and just give a warning to another cyclist who was riding on the pavement. Kept saying he might knock over pedestrians which is very dangerous, while the cyclist said he was only trying to avoid the dangerous traffic.
