Errrrr no

Please do not ever mention dyslexia again in this context you muppet

He will have been identified at the time of arrest and questioning by the police as a vulnerable person, this means someone of reduced mental capacity

Not dyslexia, which I and several others on this forum suffer from

I would run now before the dyslexics lynch you

I know fine well that dyslexia has nothing to do with IQ or general sanity or anything like that. What I was getting at is that as he was reported as having "learning difficulties" it is not beyond imagination that a defence council would take some irrelevant (to this case) factor like dyslexia and try to turn it into a mitigating factor. I just think it would be interesting to know precisely what his "learning difficulties" are.

Lack of intelligence?

Odd that stupidity is treated as a mitigating factor - although it might reasonably have been taken into account when the judge pondered the utility of a jail sentence

(I'm so not going to make a dyslexic joke. On account of being PC)
