Anyone fancy letting my local rag know what they think about this 'story'?

'Cyclists have been given a stark reminder of the dangers of the road after a woman was hospitalised in Mansfield following a collision with a car.
The 30-year-old female was knocked off her bike by the vehicle at the junction of Lichfield Lane and Berry Hill Lane on Saturday morning at around 09:40am.
She was taken by ambulance to Kings Mill Hospital but only suffered from minor injuries.
Police did not close the road but Nottingham Travelwise tweeted that there were delays at the Berry Hill Road junction'.

They make it sound as if being hit by a car is the most normal thing ever and that its the cyclist who is in the wrong by partaking in a clearly very dangerous activity.

Exactly.

@vernon You're right, but widely read by Notts folk and I suspect fairly influential, especially for those who tend to rely on the local press for all or most of their news.
