Cyclists Makes Mistake

I agree that the cyclist didn't put himself in the best of positions to say the least, but the impression I had was that the first truck had the big arrow flashing to get everybody over into the other lane as stuff was stopped in front of it.

Yeah, I don't think the truck was going anywhere but in my mind I would be treating it the same as a wall... Back to same point made in another thread about lack of exit route. I think I would have stopped alongside the black car behind the bus.

Fair play on the post though. Always good to acknowledge errors in the spirit of not repeating them.

I think that some of those who get an electric bike just treat it as a motorbike or car and don't have a cyclist mentality in the first place. Not all electric bike users by any means but I used to see one on my way home and he had modified it to go faster, and would cycle on a cycle path weaving in and out of other cyclists at speed. The one in that video is of the same type.

Wtf is that horrid racket! If that it how electric bikes sound then they should be thrown in a skip!

Frames transmit noise.

I have a helmet cam, backed up by a frame mounted, the noise ids horrendous on the latter, but absent on the former
