I always felt a bit ashamed when the walkers start appearing on sunday morning, moaning about he noise and the mess, and clearly not believing us when saying we will tidy up. One of our all nighters made it to the local rag... Ravers Clean Up Their Act, was the headline... and the article was mostly about how much cleaner the stretch of beach was after we'd left than it was before we arrived as we'd picked up every beer can, every bottle, every fag end and all the nasty bits of flotsom the tide had washed up. I think there was one very small paragraph about noise complaints, but they were all from across the bay in Cumbria... so didn't really matter.
