Ha! I can trump that. We regularly pass a chap who wears a thick coat and a balaclava. All year round. :rofl:

i never have my knees uncovered unless it's VERY hot. leg warmers otherwise, even in summer (which also function as a sun block as i tend to burn).

i don't count myself in the wuss category as i will ride all year around, in all weathers.
 
I think the invulnerable riders are the young, stupid ones. I certainly took pride in wearing shorts long after the cold was turning my knees and toes blue. I don't do it now though, oh no.
