Cyclo Cross Champs Derby

Recent post re lack of info inCycling Weekly.Went to Derby yesterday Sunday.Poor attendance compared to previous champs at Sutton Park .Not sure if this was down to the venue or down to lack of info in Cycling Weekly.Had to stand in line for 30 mins to get a jacket spud. I feel the course at Sutton Park made for more entertaining racing .Sutton always has a good range of trade stands an food outlets. No direction signs to course.Thank god for sat nanav

Good job more people didn't show up,you'd still be waiting...

I have nothing to compare it too, my first visit too a National Championships. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought the course organisers did a good job with what was available and can't imagine how it could have been better. Yes the publicity and sign posting could have been improved, even in Derby I only found out it was on a week before and I live within walking distance. I don't think that should detract from the quality of the racing.
