Cylce GPS computer

Hi All,

I`m after buying a GPS computer for my bike. I`ve trawled through reviews on Amazon and Wiggle and still can`t find an out and out winner! I plan most of my routes on strava on the home computer and want to download these to the bike unit. I want one that displays the map and highlighted route clearly even in sunshine and that guides me every turn. Not too fussed about heart rate monitoring.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received, not too fussed about cost

Garmin 810, i love mine, with bluetooth, upload straight to strava etc without having to connect to pc ! Maps everything, wouldnt use anything else

I've got a Garmin edge 800 and I love it!
There are also the 810 and 1000....nothing better IMHO.

All roads lead to a Gamin,just decide what you want from the cycle computer and decide what garmin suits!

Thanks everyone, done a fair bit of research on the Garmin touring and touring plus and this sort of review keeps appearing:

Bought the Edge to plan a route from London to Paris, having spent a number of frustrating hours trying to enter post codes, place names, I contacted the Garmen customer help department, I spoke to a very helpful lady who went through all the options on the device to program the route, eventually she agreed that it wasn't the easiest device to use, I've just returned it for a full refund & would advice any one thinking of buying the Edge for route planning not to buy this model
