I met this interesting guy this week, outside of my favourite diner in Denmark.
He is riding from the Czech Republic to Iceland on his Penny Farthing. One gear, solid rubber tyres about 2cm wide. He is 62 years old and as tough as old boots.
He has done a lot of ultra distance rides like this.
