I've just eaten some Movenpick Belgian Chocolate ice cream with a "hint of sea salt". Actually it was more than a bloody hint and it completely spoiled some good ice cream. It's like chilli flavoured chocolate.

I'm guessing that this sort of daftness is a current fad and will die out shortly. You do have to wonder why they come up with things like this and I've no doubt that there are even more stupid flavours of which I have never heard.

Yeh it seems to be a fad, people buy odd flavors out of curiosity and companies have cottoned onto this.

As for balsamic vinegar on strawberries, it's actually really nice, especially is you fry them off together and put them with ice cream
