Oil & Vinegar do a balsamic with strawberries and it's rather bloody lovely. IMO, though, the best thing to put with strawberries is champagne and fresh ground black pepper.

I love chilli chocolate as well, and travel 25 miles to my nearest Montezumas to buy it.

I've just eaten some Movenpick Belgian Chocolate ice cream with a "hint of sea salt". Actually it was more than a bloody hint and it completely spoiled some good ice cream. It's like chilli flavoured chocolate.

I'm guessing that this sort of daftness is a current fad and will die out shortly. You do have to wonder why they come up with things like this and I've no doubt that there are even more stupid flavours of which I have never heard.

I bought an Ice cream maker. One with a fridge unit.

I went silly on Clotted cream and salted Pistachio nuts.

Urrgh! That's disgusting. Add a grind of black pepper to the balsamic and strawberries......now that is delicious!
