I have one of these on order from Halfords, but I'm finding information quiet limited . . .

Does the D8 Mariner have a pump attached via the seat post?

What type of lock, that is lightweight, but sturdy enough is the ideal choice, (a lock to attached whilst in a shop etc), not to be left unattended for a great length of time.

All advice appreciated.

Is it likely to be one of these?

Here's Dahon's page on the thing https://dahon.com/bikes/mariner-d8-5/ Maybe that'll help?
I have a Dahon Caio i7 and adore it, but it comes with NO pump and no bosses for a pump either. There is no mention of such on Dahon's page and none on the page about your choice either, so I'd assume there isn't a pump either. I just carry a mini pump, multi-tool, patches and tyre levers with me and trust someone will be able to assist me as I have arthritis in my hands ... but if worse comes to worse, I can fold it up and catch the bus or call a taxi.
I have a decent ('silver' rated) D-lock which I use when it's left outside a cafe or a shop or if it's ever going to be out of my sight, no matter how brief a period it might be for. The extra weight of the lock (bungee-d onto the rear rack) is no trouble compared to the trouble of it being stolen. Otherwise it's folded in half and brought indoors. Then it's locked.
