Dahon Matrix

Hi guys, does anyone have any experience with a Dahon Matrix, I'm looking at one on ebay that finishes tonight. I was wondering if it would be suitable as a general workhorse to the train station (3 miles) in the winter and commuter (15 miles) in the spring through autumn?

It wouldn't be my choice because the one you refer to has the Lockjaw hinge mechanism - a sensitive/tricky/difficult hinge to maintain in my experience. The second point I would like to make, is there really is no point having suspension forks (especially a low level Suntour, which are not exactly brilliant in terms of either weight or performance) when it has Big Apple tyres (brilliant for potholes) for commuting - you will just be carrying weight while paying additional cost for no reason.
