Daihatsu Copen

Anybody got experience of one of these little two seaters?

Fifty+ years ago, I had a little mg midget and I would love something similar.

Pity they stopped making the Daihatsu Copen years ago and they all seem about 20 years old now, so could be full of issues. But price wise, could be got for a few £K.

Probably only day dreaming, but you never know, if one came up locally.

I had an MX5 in the 90s. A great car to drive.

There's other similar ones (i.e. Honda S660) but they're imports.

I always thought it looked like a miniaturised Audi TT (in a good way).

The little turbo engine is probably a hoot, but rhe more conventional 1300 likely a safer ownership proposition. Spares availability is supposed to be OKish.
