I can do perfectly well with something in black, but I'm in a happy sort of mood, and that makes me crave cool patterns.

It wouldn't work Arch. Take it from me some of those sprocket profiles are not good engineering design.

I could take it in, but it wouldn't be the same (and messing about with zips is a pain.

Actually, funny you mention knitting, I think I will get a bogstandard zipped black sleeve for it, to ensure padding, and then knit an over-sleeve for it. I have a couple of ideas for patterns...
