I agree - not helped by the gloomy weather.

Depends what time you set off in the mornings.

It was light when I set off, so I'm not affected by the clock change.

My window of opportunity for a short spin in the week is first thing, leaving my house at 6ish for a scenic route to the station. Got fed up of cycling in the dark, after braving it through November and December, and was just looking foward to getting back on the bike when the clocks change and ruin it all:sad: Saying that, in a month it'll be light before 6. Looking at the rain outside, I'm gonna give it another week before I start commuting again - will just have to go on a long spin over Easter to compensate:tongue:

For the first time in six months, Ive had two commutes, both in daylight! ;)

It really does get depressing when you spend every hour of daylight, at work.

I thought I wouldn't need lights today, it was so foggy I had to use lights on the way to work & they were flat when I got to work:sad:

On the plus side, the chickens weren't going mental to get out when I went up the garden at 7:30 ;)

Oddly enough, I'm missing the dark evenings already.

I don't start my commute home until 7pm or after when the roads are quiet. The wintery weather kept people indoors so my semi-rural commute is tranquil.

But in the last couple of evenings there's been more people out & about. Though this is nice, I kind of miss the absolute silence I sometimes enjoyed during the winter months.

At least the posters on this forum understand the point that an extra hour of daylight in the evening comes at the expense of an hour less in the morning. Unlike some opinions I've read elsewhere.

My personal opinion is that we should leave the clocks at GMT all year round, and then if the dark evenings don't suit us, we simply change the time at which we do things.
