Perhaps I'm on my own, but I love getting out early in the morning. By the evening I'm totally bushed and head for a siesta on the couch at 1800 so I can miss the news and complain about that later. I like to leave at 0630 latest, but from now on might get out by 0600. Since I'm not needed at work before 0830, that leaves lots of time for detours from the vanilla 10 miler.

Ahh, nice dark roads, would like it dark through out my commute not just when I'm leaving though. To me dark roads means I can see cars miles off through the trees & have a much better idea what a driver is doing behind you without looking. That said I do have a selection of "see with" attached to the front of my bike.
