Going downhill at about 25mph, spotted the big hole too late. Managed to 'lift' the front tyre over it but back caught....bang...hissssssss. Got a flat...ok no problem, I have a spare inner tube. Oh wait...back tyre is split along a 2cm line right down the seam, that's not going to work.
Luckily there was a LBS about 1/2mile back up the hill, and he managed to sort me out with a new tyre and inner tube (after I phoned my wife to get my debit card details for the shop owner)
