Oh what a tale.Last week after finding damp a short while ago we had the builder in and had half of the floor replaced.Good job great price.
Now David is one of those building chaps who puts his heart and soul into the job.And thinks of his customers .He discovered a very strong smell.Something which we have got used to.
Not him i will find that on monday and sort it out.So he thought it was the connection of kitchen extension pipework to drain outside.Well we have insurance gave them a call and putting down a camera found everything was okay doky.
So i starts looking when everyone has gone.Takes up a paving slab and breaks open some concrete and digs out two barrow loads of muddy clay.Water is running out between the breeze block wall.Stops and plugs up the hole again.
Today David gets stuck in he drills thre great big holes into the wall and internal wall out comes more water and what a stink.So to shorten this story he works his way back and finds the washing machine empties into the original house drain which he thinks is blocked up with years of waste and crap.He then puts a new pipe connection to the dishwasher pipework and seals off the old pipe leaving us t with a screw cap so we can pour mr muscle down the old pipe till we can shift the blockage.What a carry on .The waste water has been going under our house for how long we don't know.Should be solved.
